Please watch the tutorial for reference and guide :)

***Note: When you finish sewing any piece, hide the excess of yarn through the body and then just cut it.

  • Ears: sew the ears in each side of the top of the body (head), between round 2 and 3, at the same height and leaving a space between them.
  • Tail: sew the tail between round 11 and 12, at the same height of the ears.

Embroidering the face

***note: watch the tutorial for a detailed guide of all the steps :)

Nose / mouth

  1. Embroider it with black thread and a needle
  2. Choose 3 stitches where it is going to be the nose / mouth
  3. Insert your needle in the 1st stitch, now skip the 2nd, and then pass through the 3rd stitch, next pass through 1 stitch above the 2nd stitch you skipped
  4. Pass through the little loop formed with the needle pointing upwards and pull the thread
  5. Insert the needle in the same last stitch you passed through and go the back passing through any stitch
  6. Fasten off (cut and hide the threads through the body)

Eyes

  1. Embroider it with black thread and a needle
  2. Count 2 stitches to the side of the mouth and insert your needle in that stitch
  3. Then insert the needle 1 stitch to the side your current one and go to the back
  1. Again insert the needle in the same last stitch you passed through at the back, count 1 stitch to the side of the mouth (but now at the other side) and pass through
  2. Insert the needle 1 stitch to the side your current one and go to the back
  3. Fasten off (cut and hide the threads through the body)

Bow (optional)

Big bow

  1. Slip knot, 25 ch
  2. Skip the 1st ch, and from 2nd ch make: 1 sc, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 2 slpst, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 3 sc in the last ch
  3. now repeat on the other side of the work (like a mirror)
  4. 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 2 slpst, 2 hdc, 2 dc, 2 tc, 2 dc, 2 hdc, 2 sc in the last ch
  5. Slpst in the 1st sc you did
  6. Fasten off (pull and cut the yarn and leave a long tail)

Little bow

  1. Slip knot, 25 ch
  2. Skip the 1st ch, and from 2nd ch make: 1 sc, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 2 slpst, 1 hdc, 1 dc, 1 tc, 1 dc, 1 hdc, 1 sc in the last ch
  3. Fasten off (1 ch, pull and cut the yarn and leave a long tail) and hide the left yarn through the work (weave or use any other method you like)

Bow assemble

Please watch the tutorial for reference and guide :)

  1. Grab the big bow and insert the left yarn in the needle. Then grab 1 corner of the work and take it to the middle (where it is the slpst), pass the needle through the folded corner and then through the slpst.
  2. Return with the needle through that same stitch and fold the other corner to the middle and again pass through the folded corner and the slpst.
  3. Next, grab the little bow and put it under the big one. Then with the left yarn of the big bow start wrapping tightly the yarn around the center of the big and little bow to shape the bow.
  4. Hide the left yarn through the back
  5. Now you have 2 options: use the left yarn to sew the bow to the back of the cat or fasten off (pull and cut the yarn) and paste the bow with glue to the cat.

Tiny Bow

For this little bow just cut a piece of yarn and give it the shape of a bow. There are a lot of ways to do it but this is the one I used.

Then just cut the little tails to the size you want and paste it with glue to the cat.
